A man who breached an ASBO by wandering drunk into the Tesco store in Turners Hill, Cheshunt has been jailed for six months.

Andrew Morton for Lawtons, who represented the 60 year old, said “he didn’t intend serious harm and he didn’t cause serious harm.”

St Albans crown court was told the man had gone into the store earlier this year and appeared to have wet himself.

It was yet another breach of the order handed to the man by magistrates in Tottenham last November which prevented him from urinating in public and using threatening and insulting words and behaviour in public.

In court the man was described as a “compulsive alcoholic” and Judge Michael Baker QC, hearing the case, was told he had been getting into trouble since the age of 12.

The man, was given a six month jail sentence.
