Hussain joined Lawtons in 2017 as a paralegal in our Bedfordshire office, before undertaking his Police Station Representative Accreditation in 2018 and completing his training contract in January 2020. He now practices as a solicitor in the Magistrates’ Court department.
Hussain is committed to building trust with clients and can be relied upon to give honest, pragmatic advice. He has gained experience dealing with a wide range of criminal matters, from low level thefts and violence to conspiracies relating to firearms offences and drug importations. These include investigations involving HM Border Force and the Eastern Regions Special Operations Unit.
Having achieved an MA in Politics from the University of Edinburgh and an MA in Law from the University of Bristol, Hussain was awarded a distinction in the Legal Practice Course from the University of the West of England. He has been a trustee of the Bristol-based charity, Salaam Shalom, since 2014.
