About Poppy

Poppy joined Lawton’s as a Paralegal in 2017 before undertaking her Police Station Representative Accreditation in 2018 which enables her to give legal advice at the Police Station.

Poppy provides full preparation and litigation of both legal aid and privately funded Magistrates and Crown Court cases for Trial. She considers Prosecution evidence and instructs expert witnesses to assist in achieving the best outcome for clients.

Having initially achieved a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice she went on to pursue a career in Law and completed her Law conversion degree (GDL) at the University of Law in London last year. Poppy is currently in the final stages of her Legal Practice Course and is on track to receive a Distinction and start her new role as a Trainee Solicitor in August 2020.
