Payment

Payment for services will be agreed in advance and by agreement and will be way of either an agreed fixed fee or by hourly rates or a mixture of the two where appropriate. Any additional fees, such as court costs or expenses, that may be incurred during the course of representation will be the responsibility of the client.

Payments should be made prior to work being undertaken and we reserve the right not to undertake work or provide services in the absence of payment being made in advance or in accordance with any agreement entered into.

Late payment may result in interest being charged on outstanding fees due, such interest to be determined by 1% above the prevailing rate of interest.

In the event of cancellation, the client may be responsible for paying any fees that have reasonably fallen due to be calculated on the prescribed hourly rate basis notwithstanding whether there was an agreed fixed fee in place
