Lauren joined Lawtons in June 2023 initially in the role of Police Station Representative having completed her Police Station Accreditation at Cardiff University in 2022, before progressing to Trainee Solicitor with the firm. She completed her SQE preparation course at the University of Law, passing SQE1 in the first quintile, before passing SQE2 resulting in her qualification as a Solictor.
Lauren now works on our Magistrates Court team and continues to attend the police station daily to advise and assist clients. Lauren has also been heavily involved in Lawtons’ youth justice department, working on a number of cases where the S45 Modern Day Slavery defence has been successful for youth clients at Trial.
At the Hertfordshire Law Society’s Legal Excellency Awards 2026, Lauren won the award for Trainee Solicitor of the Year.
