Paul is a highly respected criminal defence solicitor with over 25 years experience & specialises in sexual offences. He has had considerable experience in the most serious police investigations & travels extensively to represent clients at the very initial stages of criminal investigations through to their ultimate conclusion ensuring where possible continuity of representation.
He qualified in 1996, having begun his career in the criminal justice system working for his father’s practice in the mid-1980s.
He believes strongly that whether advising a client in the police station or court environment, a balanced but firm approach should be taken – and that it is equally important to listen to the concerns of clients in order to achieve their objectives.
Paul accepts instructions in relation to a broad range of work. He attends police stations and courts across the whole country, always offering a bespoke, client-focused service. This is evidenced by his work not being constrained by what are considered to be usual office hours.
Paul’s interests include rugby. He played at national level and is still an active non-playing member of his local rugby club.
