A Solicitor-Advocate based at our Hertfordshire office, over-turned a conviction against our youth client at Luton Crown Court for two charges of robbery.
The wrongful conviction from the Bedford Youth Court was overturned by the Crown Court Judge. We had maintained that the Facebook identification of our client was flawed. The Judge agreed and the convictions for robbery were quashed.
Unfortunately, the co-defendant had been advised by another local Firm to plead guilty. It confirms our view that we are the leading Criminal firm in Bedford. Dawn McKnight, Solicitor, was extremely pleased that her original advice had been confirmed by the Crown Court Judge.
