Our Solicitor-Advocate, Stephen Halloran, recently dealt with a prosecution by the Health & Safety Executive(HSE) under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. The case involved a failure to properly supervise building works being carried out and that involved a risk of harm.

Our experience in dealing with cases of this type ensured that the client did not receive an immediate prison sentence. Luton Magistrates’ Court were persuaded to consider an alternative as a result of the issues highlighted on behalf of our client.
