Joanne Cestaro was instructed by a young man who was under investigation for IIOC of Category A, B and C. He had previously been interviewed with a Duty Solicitor in attendance but wanted specialist advice and assistance and therefore approached Lawtons Private Team.

He was guided through a further police interview and entered Guilty pleas in the Magistrates’ Court to offences of Making Indecent Images of Children – 110 Category A, 155 Category B and 118 Category C. His case was committed for sentence to Luton Crown Court. Our client was advised on how to take positive steps such as the completion of relevant courses and obtaining character references.

In following our advice he was able to produce a portfolio of documents to submit to the court for consideration. Ricky Blennerhassett of Lamb Building was instructed and as a result of the advanced mitigation and the portfolio of defence documents, a Suspended Sentence Order was imposed, avoiding an immediate custodial sentence.

Our client was extremely relieved and grateful to be in apposition to address and pursue rehabilitation within the community.
