On Friday 6th June, the Hertfordshire Law Society hosted their Annual Dinner at the historic Hatfield House. This event’s organisation was spearheaded by Lawtons’ Partner and President of the Hertfordshire Law Society, Massimo Trebar.
It was a fantastic evening that began with welcome drinks in the garden, where guests had the opportunity to connect with colleagues amidst beautiful surroundings.
All guests were then invited inside, where we enjoyed a three-course meal, as well as insightful speeches from Richard Atkinson, President of the National Law Society and, of course, Massimo Trebar. As part of his speech, Massimo touched on the history of criminal legal aid and its importance within the field of criminal law.
Following the speeches, Massimo announced the winners of the Hertfordshire Law Society’s Legal Excellence Award. Alongside several other distinguished award winners, Lawtons’ Managing Director, Stephen Halloran, was named Solicitor of the Year — a fitting recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field.
The evening drew to a close with some fantastic entertainment, including a live band and a photo booth. Lawtons proudly celebrates Massimo’s efforts in organising such a successful event and for his contributions to the Society as President.
